The President, Mr. Ramalingum Maistry, will attend the 11th Indian Ocean Islands Economic Forum, to be held on the 26th, 27th and 28th September in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The event, organised jointly by the Union of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Indian Ocean (UCCIOI) and the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), aims at developing business ties in the region and to convene the major operators from all sectors of this economic zone. The President will participate in a High Level discussion panel on Logistics and business development in the Indian Ocean, which will gather major stakeholders such as the Secretary General of the Indian Ocean Commission, Mr. Hamada Madi Bolero, the President of UCCIOI, Mr. Pascal Plante, the President of Région Réunion Mr. Didier Robert, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Regional Integration of Mauritius, Mr. Vishnu Lutchmeeranaidoo, and others.
