PORT OF VICTORIA

The Seychelles Ports Authority was founded in 2004 as a result of the government’s new policy to regulate the management of Victoria Harbour towards a more commercial approach. The SPA is a state entity with a Board of Directors as the governing body.

The Port of Victoria’s ambition is to become the most competitive port in the region, and through the modernisation of its infrastructure, aims to ensure sustainable economic growth while respecting and protecting its natural resources.

The Seychelles Ports Authority wants to promote national maritime development while maintaining collaborative relationships with other ports of the region.
