The 3rd learning session on port safety and security took place from Monday 16th to Friday 20th September 2019 and was given by the Institut Portuaire d’Enseignement et de Recherche (IPER) within the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Maritime (ENSM) of Le Havre in France. The training allowed 10 port safety officers to follow lessons on cyber security in the maritime environment, the role of maritime affairs, customs, to visit the port of Le Havre including the port security service and the cruise terminal, and finally to present to all participants their presentation regarding the implementation of the action plan to improve safety within their own port.
